About me

I am an associate professor at College of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology. I am also a member of Distributed Intelligent Information Service Lab of SDUST, led by Prof. Qingtian Zeng. Prior to joining SDUST, I worked at Business Search Department, Baidu Corp., during 2008-2010.

I obtained my Ph.D. in computer application and technology at Nankai University in 2008. My advisor is Prof. Yalou Huang. Thesis: Research on Statistical Learning over Naturally Grouped Data.

During my graduate career, I participated in the internship program of Microsoft Research Asian (MSRA) and worked as an intern in Web Search and Mining Group, during 2006-2007. My mentors are Dr. Jun Xu and Dr. Hang Li.

During 2015-2016, I worked at State University of New York at Binghamton as a visiting scholar, cooperated with Prof. Weiyi Meng.

Research Interests

My research interests lie in the area of text mining, information retrieval and recommendation system. The followings are some of my R&D projects:
